The general recommendation is a cleaning and inspection once a year before burning season, and we're happy to get you set up.
Do you sweep and clean chimneys?
Yes, sweeping and cleaning out creosote is our core service — the technician cleans it up neatly with drop cloths and gives you the price up front.
Smoke comes back into my house
If smoke is filling the room right now, please put the fire out and air the house out, and step outside if it's heavy. We'll get a technician out to check why it's not drawing right.

A chimney odor is worth having checked — the technician will find the source and take care of it, and go over the price first.

Water around a chimney is common and we fix it — caps, crowns, flashing, and sealing. The technician will inspect it and give you a free repair estimate.
There's an animal or bird in my chimney
We remove animals and nests and can cap the chimney so it doesn't happen again — please keep the damper closed and pets away, and we'll get someone out.
Do you install caps, crowns, or flashing?
Yes, we install caps and repair crowns and flashing — the technician will check what yours needs and give you a free estimate.
Do you do liners / relining?
We install and repair chimney liners, including stainless steel relining — the technician will inspect the flue and go over the options with you.
Do you do inspections for a home sale?
We do inspections, including the more detailed ones for a home sale, often with a camera scan of the flue. Let me know your timeline and we'll get you scheduled.
Do you service gas fireplaces or wood stoves?
We service wood-burning fireplaces, gas fireplaces, and wood and pellet stoves — just let me know which you have and we'll take care of it.
Do you clean dryer vents?
Yes, we clean dryer vents too — a clogged one is a real fire risk, so it's a good add-on while we're there. We'll include it in your quote.
Do you do masonry repair or rebuilds?
We do chimney masonry repair, tuckpointing, and rebuilds — the technician will inspect it safely and give you a free estimate.
Is my chimney safe / carbon monoxide?
Safety is exactly what a good inspection is for — if you ever have a CO alarm or smell smoke, get outside and call 911 first. Otherwise we'll inspect it and make sure it's safe to use.
