Frequently asked questions
Do you charge for an estimate / to come out?
Estimates are completely free — we come look at the site and give you the exact price before any work is done.
How much does demolition cost?
It depends a lot on the size, the construction, access, and disposal, so we look at the site and give you the exact price up front — and the estimate is free.
How soon can you do it / how long does it take?
We schedule estimates quickly, and if it's an emergency like a fire-damaged or unstable structure, tell me now and we'll get someone out as a priority.
Do you tear down whole buildings / houses?
Yes — full building and house teardowns are core work for us, right through to hauling off the debris. Tell me about the structure and we'll come take a look.
Do you do interior demolition / gutting?
We do — interior demo and gutting for remodels and build-outs, taking it back to the studs or shell. The estimate is free.
Can you remove a pool, garage, shed, or chimney?
Absolutely — pools, garages, sheds, chimneys, and decks. Let me know which and how the access is, and we'll set up a free estimate.
Do you remove concrete or foundations?
Yes — concrete and foundation removal are things we do, whether it's a slab, driveway, or a full foundation. We'll price it after we see the area.
What about asbestos or lead in an old building?
Great question — older buildings sometimes have materials that need licensed abatement first, and we check for that before any demolition so it's handled safely and legally.
Do you handle permits and utility disconnects?
Yes — pulling the demolition permit and making sure utilities are disconnected are standard steps we handle before any demo begins.
Do you haul away the debris?
We do — debris removal, hauling, and site clearing are part of the job, so you're left with a clean site.
Do you do commercial demolition?
Yes — commercial and industrial demolition as well as residential. Tell me about the project and we'll set up a site visit.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — we're licensed and insured, and we're happy to go over that with you when we come out.
Do you offer emergency demolition?
We do — if a structure is fire-damaged, storm-damaged, or unstable, please keep everyone well clear and let me get a crew headed your way as a priority.
Do you service my area?
We're local and cover your area — I'll grab your address and set up a free on-site estimate.
⚠️ Safety first
- A structure is unstable, leaning, or partly collapsed: Please keep everyone well back and out of it — a damaged structure can come down without warning. Don't let anyone go inside for belongings, and we'll get a crew out to handle it safely.
- Gas smell at the site: Please get everyone away from the area, don't start any engines or anything that could spark, and from a safe distance call 911 and the gas company. Once it's safe, we'll help with the rest.
- Downed, sparking, or exposed live electrical wires: Please keep everyone well back and don't touch anything near the wires — treat them as live. Call 911 and your power company right now, and we'll take it from there once it's safe.
- Suspected asbestos or lead in an older building: Good that you mentioned it — please don't disturb or break anything, and keep the area closed off. Older materials sometimes need licensed abatement first, and we'll check that before any demo so it's done safely and legally.
- Someone is trapped or hurt in a collapse: Please call 911 right now so emergency crews can get there — don't go into an unstable structure after them. Keep everyone else back, and we'll help however we can.
