Frequently asked questions
Do you charge for an estimate?
Design consultations for a new feature are free, and for repairs the specialist will tell you any small trip fee before coming out and then gives you the exact price before doing any work.
How much to fix / build a fountain?
It depends on the size of the feature and what it needs, so the specialist looks at it in person and gives you an exact price up front — no surprises.
My fountain stopped working / isn't flowing
No problem — that's a common call. The specialist will check the whole system and get your fountain flowing again, and go over the price before any work.
I think my fountain / pond is leaking
We handle that a lot — some of it is normal evaporation and some is a true leak, and the specialist will track down exactly what's happening and give you the fix and price.
The water is green / dirty / smells
That's very common, especially in warm weather — the specialist will clean it up and set it up to stay clearer, and if there are fish or plants we'll keep them safe.
Do you fix or replace pumps?
Yes, pump repair and replacement is one of our most common jobs — the specialist will check yours, size the right pump if it needs replacing, and give you the price first.
Can you build a new fountain / pond / waterfall?
Absolutely — we design and build custom fountains, ponds, and waterfalls. The specialist will look at the space, talk through styles, and give you a free design estimate.
Do you do indoor fountains too?
Yes, we work on indoor fountains and wall features as well as outdoor ones — just let us know what you have and we'll take care of it.
Can you winterize / start up my fountain for the season?
Yes — we handle both winterizing before the cold and starting it back up in spring, so nothing cracks and it runs clean all season.
Do you add lighting to a fountain?
We do — low-voltage LED lighting can make a feature beautiful at night, and the specialist can show you options and give you the price.
Do you do commercial fountains?
Yes, we service and build commercial fountains and features for businesses, hotels, and HOAs, and we can set up regular maintenance to keep them running.
Can you remove an old fountain?

Do you service my area?
We cover your area — I'll grab your address and get a specialist headed your way.
⚠️ Safety first
- Sparking, a tripped breaker, or shock felt near the water/pump: Please turn off the power to the fountain at the breaker right now and don't touch the water or the pump until it's off. Electricity and water together are dangerous — once the power's off, we'll get a specialist out to check it safely.
- Frayed cord or exposed wiring on a pump or light: Please unplug it or shut off its breaker and keep it powered off until we can look at it — a damaged cord near water isn't safe to run. We'll take care of it when the specialist is out.
- Large pond leak flooding toward the home or a walkway: Let's stop the flow — if you can, turn off the pump and any auto-fill so it's not adding water, and keep the walkway clear so no one slips. We'll get someone out to find and fix the leak.
Know the terms
- Recirculating pump
- The pump that pushes water up and around the feature so it flows continuously; the heart of the system.
- Basin / reservoir
- The hidden tank that holds the water a pondless fountain or waterfall recirculates.
- Liner
- The waterproof membrane that holds water in a pond or feature; a common source of leaks.
- Pondless / disappearing waterfall
- A waterfall that flows into a hidden gravel-filled basin with no open pond, safer and lower-maintenance.
- UV clarifier
- A light unit that kills the algae causing green water, used with a pump and filter.
- Winterization
- Draining and protecting the feature and pump before freezing weather so nothing cracks.
