Common problems we handle

Frequently asked questions

Do you charge for an estimate / to come out?
Estimates are completely free — our technician comes out, looks at the job, and gives you the exact price before any work is done.
I smell gas — what do I do?
Please get everyone out of the house now, don't touch any switches or appliances, and once you're outside call 911 and your gas company. Your safety comes first — we'll take care of the line after.
How soon can you come / same day / emergency?
We offer same-day and emergency service and can usually get a technician out to you quickly — for a suspected leak, please get to safety first and call your gas company.
How much to run a gas line / hook up my appliance?
It depends on the length of the line and what's involved, so the technician gives you the exact price on site before starting — and the estimate is free.
Can you hook up my new range / dryer / water heater / furnace?
Yes, we hook up all gas appliances — ranges, dryers, water heaters, furnaces and more — and make sure it's tested and safe.
Can you run gas to my grill, fire pit, or outdoor kitchen?
Absolutely — we run outdoor lines for grills, fire pits, outdoor kitchens, pool heaters and generators, and the estimate is free.
Do you work with propane as well as natural gas?
Yes, we work with both natural gas and propane, including conversions — the technician can go over the best setup for you.
Are you licensed and do you pull permits?
Yes — gas work should always be done to code, and we handle the permit and inspection when the job calls for one.
Do you do commercial gas work?
Yes, we do commercial and residential gas work — the technician can come out and give you a free estimate.
Do you find and fix gas leaks?
Yes, we do leak detection and repair, and we pressure-test the line to make sure it's safe before putting it back in service.
My CO detector went off / I feel dizzy
Please get everyone outside into fresh air right now and call 911 — carbon monoxide is serious and you can't smell it. Don't go back in until responders say it's safe.
What's your warranty / guarantee?
We stand behind our work — the technician will go over the exact warranty on your parts and labor while he's there.
Do you offer financing / payment plans?
That's a good question — let me have the office confirm the current payment options and we'll go over them with you.
Do you service my area?
We're local and cover your area — I'll just grab your address and get a technician headed your way.
