Frequently asked questions
Do you charge for an estimate?
The estimate itself is free — the technician looks at your spa and gives you the exact price before any work. If there's a diagnostic fee to pinpoint it, we'll tell you up front, and it often goes toward the repair.
How much to fix a hot tub?
It really depends on the part and what your spa needs, so the technician takes a look and gives you the exact price for free — it's not something we can pin down over the phone.
How soon can you come out?
We can usually get a technician out quickly, and we do offer faster service for leaks and anything urgent — let's get you on the schedule.
My hot tub won't heat up
I'm sorry, that's frustrating — the technician will find out why it's not heating and get it warm again, and go over the price before any work.
My hot tub is leaking
We handle leaks all the time — the technician will track down where it's coming from and get it sealed up. If any water's near the equipment, keep clear of that area for now.
It keeps tripping the breaker
Let's leave it off rather than keep resetting it — that breaker is protecting you. The technician will find out why safely and get it sorted.
There's an error code on the panel
No problem — if you can read me the letters or numbers I'll note them, and the technician will take care of what the code is pointing to.
The jets or pump aren't working
We can get that working again — the technician will check it out and give you the exact price before any repair.
The water is cloudy / foamy / smells bad
We can get your water balanced and clear again, and show you how to keep it that way. The technician will handle it and go over the price first.
Do you replace covers?
Yes — we replace hot tub covers, and a fresh one that fits right also helps hold the heat in. We'll measure and give you an exact price.
Do you work on my brand?
Yes — we work on all the major spa brands and control systems. If you know the brand, great, and if not the technician will identify it on site.
Do you drain and clean it / do maintenance?
Absolutely — we drain, clean, refill, and service spas to keep them running well, and we'll go over a maintenance option if you'd like.
Can you move / relocate my hot tub?
Yes — we can move or relocate a hot tub. We'll look at the access and setup and give you an exact price for the move.
Do you winterize hot tubs?
We do — if you're not using it over winter, we'll drain and clear the lines so it doesn't freeze and crack. Let's get you scheduled.
What's your warranty / guarantee?
We stand behind our work — the technician will go over the exact warranty on the parts and labor when he's there.
Do you service my area?
We're local and cover your area — I'll grab your address and get a technician headed your way.
⚠️ Safety first
- Tingle, shock, or buzzing felt in or around the water: Please get everyone out of the tub right away and don't touch the water or the tub — if you can safely reach the breaker, shut the spa's power off. That's an electrical issue and we'll get a technician out; if anyone was shocked, call 911 first.
- Burning smell, smoke, or sparking from the equipment: Please shut the spa's breaker off if you can do it safely and keep everyone clear. If you see smoke or fire, get away and call 911 first — we'll send a technician out.
- Breaker keeps tripping: Let's leave it off for now rather than keep resetting it — a breaker that keeps tripping is doing its job protecting you, and our technician will find out why safely.
- Water is dangerously hot / scalding: Please keep everyone out until it cools, and don't get in to check it — we'll get a technician out to get the temperature back under control.
- Chemical fumes or someone mixed chemicals: Please step away and get fresh air, and don't mix any more chemicals together. If anyone's having trouble breathing, call 911 or Poison Control, and we'll help you get the water sorted safely.
- Water pooling near the equipment or an outlet: Please keep clear of that area and shut the spa's breaker off if you can safely — water and electricity together aren't safe, and we'll get a technician right out.
Know the terms
- Control pack / topside panel
- The control board and buttons that run the spa and show error codes.
- GFCI breaker

- Circulation pump
- The quiet pump that keeps water moving through the filter and heater.
- Sanitizer
- The chlorine or bromine that keeps the water clean and safe to soak in.

- Winterizing
- Fully draining and clearing the lines so a spa doesn't freeze and crack when not in use in cold weather.
