It really depends on the size, the cabinets and countertops, and the finishes you choose, so we keep the consultation and estimate free and give you a detailed written price. It's not something we can pin down over the phone.
Do you charge for a consultation / estimate?
The in-home consultation and estimate are free — a designer comes out, talks through your vision, and gives you a detailed price with no obligation.
How long does a kitchen remodel take?
Most kitchen remodels run several weeks to a couple of months depending on the scope, and we'll give you a realistic schedule with your proposal so you know what to expect.
Do you do the design too?
Yes — design and layout are where we start, so the kitchen fits how you actually cook and live. We'll help with the whole plan and the finishes.
Can you just replace cabinets or countertops?
Absolutely — we do full remodels or focused updates like new cabinets, refacing, or countertops. Tell us what you'd like and we'll build a plan and price around it.
What's the difference between new cabinets and refacing?
Refacing keeps your existing boxes and gives you new doors and fronts for a fresh look at lower cost, while new cabinets replace everything. The designer will help you pick what fits your kitchen and budget.
Can you open up my kitchen / remove a wall?
We can — and if the wall helps hold up the house, we put in a proper beam and support so it's done safely to code. We'll confirm all that during the consultation.
Are you licensed and insured / do you pull permits?
Yes — we're licensed and insured and we pull the proper permits, so the electrical, plumbing, and structural work is inspected and up to code. It protects you and your home.
Do you handle plumbing, electrical, and gas?
Yes — we handle the plumbing, electrical, and gas work with licensed pros as part of the remodel, all permitted and inspected. We coordinate the whole thing for you.
Do you install appliances I buy?
We do — you can supply your appliances and we'll install and connect them, or we can help you select them. Either way we'll include it in the plan.
Can I use my kitchen during the remodel?
The kitchen itself is out of use for part of the project, but we set up a realistic timeline and do our best to minimize the disruption. We'll walk you through what to expect.
Do you offer financing?
Financing is commonly available on projects this size — let me have the office go over the current options with you so you can plan around your budget.
My home is older — will that be a problem?
Older homes can have surprises behind the walls, and we plan for those and handle anything like lead or asbestos the safe, certified way. It's part of doing the job right.
What's your warranty / guarantee?
We stand behind our work with a workmanship warranty, plus manufacturer warranties on the products — the project manager will go over the exact coverage in your proposal.
