Frequently asked questions
Do you charge for an estimate / to come out?
Estimates are completely free — our technician measures on site and gives you the exact price before any work is done.
How much for marble countertops / restoration?
It depends on the stone, the size, and what's involved, so the technician gives you the exact price on site before any work — and the estimate is free.
My marble is dull, cloudy, or etched — can you fix it?
Yes, we restore and polish marble to bring the shine back — the technician will take a look and give you the exact price up front.
There's a stain / water mark in my marble
We handle stains regularly — the technician will assess it and work to draw it out, and go over the options and price with you.
My marble is chipped or cracked
Yes, we do chip and crack repair with color-matched filling so it blends in — the technician can look and give you an exact price.
Can you seal my marble to protect it?
Absolutely — sealing helps protect marble from stains, and the technician can seal it and let you know how often to redo it.
Do you install new marble / fabricate countertops?

Do you work on floors, showers, and fireplaces too?

Do you service my area?
We're local and cover your area — I'll just grab your address and get a technician headed your way.
⚠️ Safety first
- Caller wants to lift or move a slab or a broken piece themselves: Please don't try to lift or move it yourself — marble slabs are extremely heavy and can crush a hand or foot, and broken stone has sharp edges. Our crew has the right equipment to move it safely.
- An installed countertop or slab is loose or unstable: Please keep children away from it and don't lean on it or set weight on it until it's secured — an unstable slab can shift or fall. We'll get a technician out to make it safe.
- Someone got cut on broken or chipped stone: Please clean it and apply pressure, and if it's a deep cut call 911 — your safety comes first, and we'll take care of the stone.
- A heavy piece is overhanging or could tip: Please keep everyone clear of it for now and don't try to prop it yourself, and we'll prioritize getting a technician out to secure it safely.
Know the terms
- Etching
- Dull spots where acid (lemon, wine, vinegar) has eaten the polish; different from a stain.
- Honing
- Grinding the surface smooth to a matte finish, a step in restoration.
- Polishing
- Bringing the gloss and shine back to the marble surface.
- Penetrating sealer
- A sealer that soaks into the porous stone to slow staining; doesn't change the look.
- Poultice
- A paste applied to draw an absorbed stain up and out of the stone.
- Slab vs tile
- A slab is a large single piece (like a countertop); tile is smaller pieces set with grout.
