Frequently asked questions
Do you charge for an inspection?
Inspections are free for most homeowners — the inspector checks your home and gives you the exact price before any treatment. Real estate reports may have a set fee the office will confirm.
How much is termite treatment?
It really depends on the type of termite, the size of the home, and the treatment, so the inspector looks at it on site and gives you the exact price up front — and the inspection is free.
I saw bugs / wings — are they termites?
It's smart to have it checked — save any bugs or wings you can, and our inspector will identify exactly what it is when he's out. The inspection is free.
I found mud tubes / tunnels
Thanks for flagging that — please leave them as they are so the inspector can see them, and we'll get someone out to take a look and go over your options.
How soon can you come out?
We'll get you scheduled as soon as possible — I can set up an inspection, and if there's an escrow or closing date we'll work around it.
Do I need to tent my house?
Not always — a lot of situations are handled with a barrier, bait, or a spot treatment, and the inspector will tell you exactly what your home needs after he looks.
Is the treatment safe for my kids and pets?
Great question — our treatments are applied by licensed technicians who'll walk you through exactly how to keep your family and pets safe, including any time to stay clear of a treated area.
Do I have to leave my house for a tenting?
Yes — for a tenting everyone and all pets have to be out for the full time, usually a couple of days, and the crew will give you a clear checklist. No one goes back in until we certify it's safe.
Can you do a report for buying or selling a home?
Yes, we do the wood-destroying-organism reports for home sales and escrow — just let us know your timeline and we'll get it scheduled.
Do you repair termite damage?
Yes, we repair termite-damaged wood — the inspector will assess it on site and go over the repair along with the exact price.
Do you offer a warranty / ongoing protection?
Yes — we back our treatments and offer annual monitoring and renewals to keep your protection in place. The inspector will go over the exact terms.
Do you do prevention if I don't have termites yet?
Absolutely — preventive treatment and monitoring are a great idea, and the inspector can set up the right plan for your home.
Do you do commercial buildings?
Yes, we handle commercial and residential — homes, apartments, and commercial buildings.
Do you offer financing?
That's a good question — let me have the office confirm the current payment options and we'll go over them with you.
Do you service my area?
We're local and cover your area — I'll grab your details and get an inspection scheduled.
⚠️ Safety first
- A fumigation (tenting) is scheduled or in progress: For a tenting, our licensed team handles every safety step. Everyone and all pets must be out for the full time, and please follow the crew's instructions on bagging food and medicine. Nobody can go back inside until we clear the air and post the certificate that it's safe — please don't enter the tent for any reason.
- Caller wants to re-enter a tented home early / left something inside: I understand, but please don't go into a tented home for anything — the gas is dangerous until it's fully cleared and we've certified re-entry. Let me have the crew help you; they can advise on timing safely.
- Concern about pesticide exposure with kids or pets: That's a fair question — our treatments are applied by licensed technicians who'll go over exactly what to do to keep your family and pets safe, including any time to stay clear of a treated area.
